A fairly large suitcase that my mom still insists is too small.
My mom got me this suitcase before I went to Los Angeles. I wasn’t sucked into the concept of “carryon only” back then, but it was a good trip for me to truly realise how much people actually overpack.
Throughout my time in LA, I am certain that I only used half the clothes I brought. People say that you need to pack more for winter, but I think the opposite is true. During winter, you’re less likely to sweat, meaning you can wear the same clothes again and again. If it were summer, you’d sweat through all your clothes and need a fresh set every day.
I haven’t used this large suitcase since that trip, but I’m sure it will come in handy one day if I decide to make a big move.
