6 years of professional experience in Content Production and Corporate/Change Communications.
In my latest role, I led the end-to-end production of 1000+ podcasts on a wide range of business topics, for Fortune 500 clients including Microsoft, Disney, Cisco, and Kellanova. I specialise in producing briefs for hosts and guests, and outlines that facilitate conversations that can be optimised in post production.
I believe that producing a podcast comes in 4 parts:
1. Preparation: Know exactly the value you’re looking to get out of the guest before the podcast even begins.
2. Recording: Ensuring that all value points are addressed, regardless of chronological order
3. Post-Production: Re-manipulating the raw materials into an engaging experience
4. Marketing: Creating carousels and video snippets that provide immediate value, even if viewers don’t end up listening to the podcast.
On the side, I’ve built and scaled a community app from scratch as a one-man team to over 2600 users, 100 paying subscribers, with an 80% retention rate. I’m someone who not only builds and produces great stuff, but ensures it gets adopted.
I’ve also lived and worked in Asia, Africa, and Europe, and have worked remotely across cultures.
My roots are in video production and storytelling. While I’ve worked with professional teams, I’m a competent one-man-crew who’s proficient in all aspects of the production process, with a artist’s eye for cinematography.
In my latest role, I worked with senior professionals to produce over 1000+ podcasts. In my 4 years of working with diverse guests, I’ve even developed systems to classify guests into different personality types and speaking capabilities, in order to cater tailored styles of preparation to get the best content out of the interview. I’m also experienced with guiding guests in optimising their audio and video for remote interviews. 90% of my work involved client projects for MNCs, however below are two podcasts which are publicly published.
